Furkids located in Greenbank a rural residential suburb southwest of Brisbane. This modern all-inclusive clinic offers cutting edge diagnostics, expertise, and professional service. Furkids is led by Dr Jo Beckett, who has 20 years’ experience and extensive knowledge in orthopaedics, soft tissue, reconstruction and reproduction. We have a high caseload of interesting patients, including Brachycephalic breeds, complex medical cases and reproduction.

The Position

We are currently seeking a Vet Nurse to join our wonderful team on a casual basis! This position plays an integral role in delivering world class patient care to our amazing clients and supporting our Vets, so we are seeking an efficient, organised, and proficient communicator who is passionate about working with our team to build positive rapport with our clients. 

Our Ideal Candidate

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing would prove beneficial, however not essential.
• Previous experience as a Vet Nurse with customer facing and/or reception duties within the animal industry/ clinic environment.
• Someone that has exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.
• An empathetic, caring person that always advocates for their patients.
• An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice.
• The ability to manage a busy appointment schedule.
