The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Practice Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that patient care reflects our core values while maintaining efficient administrative processes. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Cert IV Senior Vet Nurse eager to take the next step in their career or for an experienced practice manager seeking a fulfilling and impactful position

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the team in executing the day-to-day operations of the practice.
  • Manage administrative tasks associated with recruitment, rostering, payroll, accounts and banking.
  • Supporting and delivering uncompromising standards of care for our furry friend patients and ensuring an exceptional client experience
  • Identifying and forecasting teams training requirements and promoting skills development.
  • Promoting and upholding the team vision and values
  • Leading and developing the team to promote and maintain a positive workplace culture.
  • Work closely with the Lead Veterinarian to review business performance and achieve business sustainability & growth.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Veterinary Nurse, with leadership experience would be highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience with delivering an excellent client experience in a previous role is essential.
  • Experience in the veterinary industry would be beneficial, however not essential.
  • Desire to lead, engage and inspire a team.
  • High attention to detail and time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines.
  • Proactive and positive work ethic and attitude, willing to support the team wherever needed.
