At Swan Valley Vet Centre, we’ve created a welcoming environment designed to feel like home for both pets and their owners. Our waiting room includes separate areas for cats and offers additional privacy options. Our consultation rooms are spacious and equipped with treats and toys to comfort anxious pets. The surgical suite features state-of-the-art technology, enabling our experienced veterinary team to deliver high-quality surgical and diagnostic services. We also provide in-house diagnostic imaging and CT services.

Our team consists of eight knowledgeable veterinarians supported by experienced nurses and staff, operating harmoniously like a family.

The opportunity

We are currently seeking a veterinary receptionist to join our wonderful team full-time basis. Our receptionist is the first point of contact for all our valued clients, so providing a high-quality client experience in person and over the phone is of the utmost importance to us. This is a fantastic opportunity that will allow you to gain experience in a fast-paced yet rewarding atmosphere with a remarkable team.

Our ideal candidate:

• Previous experience working in customer facing positions within the animal industry essential
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing will be highly regarded, but not mandatory

• Someone that has exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients
• An empathetic, caring person that always advocates for their patients
• An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice
• The ability to manage a busy appointment schedule & assist with reception administration tasks.
