At Tuggerah Veterinary Clinic, we have been dedicated to caring for pets and wildlife on the NSW Central Coast since 1999. Our compassionate and professional team is committed to providing exceptional veterinary services with a friendly touch.

While we primarily care for companion animals such as dogs and cats, we also treat a diverse range of exotic pets, including birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice, and rabbits. We are also involved in the care of native animals, which are treated and then transferred to WIRES for rehabilitation. Our client base is diverse, including a notable number of breeders, and we possess specialized expertise in feline medicine and ferret care.

The Position

We are looking for an experienced Vet Nurse to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. This role is crucial in delivering top-notch care to our patients and supporting our veterinarians. We are seeking a highly organized, efficient, and skilled communicator who is passionate about fostering positive relationships with clients and providing outstanding care for our patients.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Is a standout nurse with excellent customer service skills.
• Has prior experience as a Vet Nurse and in customer-facing roles within the animal industry.
• Possesses strong communication skills and can interact effectively with a wide range of people.
• Demonstrates a motivated, positive, and proactive attitude.
• Is confident in various aspects of veterinary nursing, including reception, medicine, surgery, and anaesthesia.
• Flexible availability, shifts will include Saturdays where required.
