Located in Greater Newcastle, NSW, Belmont Veterinary Hospital has provided a friendly, caring and professional service to the local community for over 50 years. This newly refurbished hospital is renowned for high-level surgery and an impressive range of orthopaedic and imaging equipment.

Belmont is a go-to for racing dog care, muscle checks, track injuries and rehabilitation. We also assist with animal rescues and rehoming abandoned animals.

The Opportunity
A full-time opportunity exists for an experienced vet to join our team (although we would consider a vet looking for part-time hours also!).

Applicants should have the following:

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
• Experience working in a veterinary practice – both consultative and surgical preferred
• Ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
• Positive outlook, great time management skills
• A desire to grow yourself and develop your career
• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Salary range from $70,000 - $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation
