About Us 

We are a group of three small animal general practice clinics in South-East Queensland located in Nundah, New Farm and Cleveland. Across our group we have a vibrant and diverse team of vets, veterinary nurses, veterinary technicians, and additional support staff. Our service is client centred – we love the people and the pets and work towards best outcomes for all. We value personal and practice development, and this is supported in the clinic with training, mentorship, and continual advances in clinic equipment and practices. 

The Opportunity 

We are currently seeking an experienced Vet Nurse to join our wonderful team on a casual basis. This position will be based at the Central New Farm clinic, with occasional shifts at Cleveland and Nundah. This position plays an integral role in delivering world class patient care to our amazing clients and supporting our Vets, so we are seeking an efficient, organised, and proficient communicator who is passionate about working with our team to build positive rapport with our clients.   

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing would prove beneficial, however not essential. 
  • Previous experience as a Vet Nurse with customer facing and/or reception duties within the animal industry/ clinic environment. 
  • Knowledge of RX Works is ideal but not essential. 
  • Someone that has exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients. 
  • An empathetic, caring person that always advocates for their patients. 
  • An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice. 
  • Must be adaptable and able to use initiative. 
  • The ability to manage a busy appointment schedule & assist with reception administration tasks. 
  • Flexible availability – with shifts between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, and some weekends between 9am -2pm
