About Us:
Old Reynella Veterinary Clinic is a long-standing practice with a tight-knit team. Led by the experienced Dr Hazel Cable, Old Reynella adopts a compassionate approach to care by fostering relationships with clients. The dedicated team treat dogs, cats, and pocket pets (rabbits, ferrets, rats and guinea pigs) are a particular interest.

Specialising in preventative care, we offer a variety of services with the necessary bells and whistles to provide an excellent service including: Digital X-Ray & Developer, Dental Unit, multi-parameter monitoring and an In house laboratory

The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for a full-time veterinarian to join our team! You will be well supported and gain valuable experience in all facets of a practice that makes a positive impact on the community every single day.

This opportunity is open to experienced vets and new graduate vets. For new graduate vets, you will be eligible for the Vets Central New Graduate Program which is a 24-month mentored journey designed to support your transition from university to the professional world. Our program focuses on key areas of development, providing hands-on clinical experience, business skills, personal well-being support, and exceptional client communication training. With accredited mentors, carefully selected clinics, and an extensive support network, we offer an unrivalled opportunity to grow as a well-rounded general practitioner while enjoying a healthy work-life balance and a fun and supportive community.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
  • Worked in a veterinary clinic – both consultive and surgical (all levels of experience welcome)
  • Ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
  • A positive ‘can do’ & friendly attitude
  • A desire to grow yourself and develop your career
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
